WALKING
There are many fantastic walks to be had in the area, including several picturesque forestry walks and for the more adventurous walking enthusiasts, The Kintyre Way provides a great long distance walk (approx 87 miles) from Tarbert in the north to Southend in the south, but some would suggest that a gentle stroll on the beach is just as satisfying.
DAY TRIPS
Campbeltown also offers many facilities including sailing trips, fishing, sea angling, pony trekking, cinema, restaurants, shopping and a leisure centre with swimming pool. Day trips can be taken to the islands of Gigha and Arran by ferry.
